QUESTION:
How Clipsus works?
ANSWER:
Clipsus is an automated service that works on Facebook Messenger. It allows to collect small video clips from people on Facebook and lets you assemble those clips into a single heartwarming group video. Such videos are great for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and many other occasions.

Here is how it works:
  1. Start a conversation with Clipsus on Facebook. Create a project by answering a few questions and share it with collaborators via a unique invite link.
  2. Collaborators join your project and add their video clips right in a Messenger chat. You are notified every time anyone adds a clip to your project and you can even reject the clips you don't like.
  3. Done collecting? Get your group video by using "Assemble" feature in the project status menu.
Once you got your group video you can share it the way you like.

QUESTION:
How to make a great video clip?
ANSWER:
☝️ Remember — your video doesn't have to be perfect! Just be sincere, lively and be yourself. That's all what is needed to make a good clip. Really!

Feeling creative? Here are some tips to get you going.

Clip format — for best results record or upload video clips in vertical format. You can still use horizontal clips in your project, but those will have large margins in the final group video.

Location — look for a place that will serve as a good backdrop. It will make your clip stand out and will add a nice vibe to the group video. Make sure the chosen location is well-lit and not too noisy.

Voice — make sure your voice is audible after recording. During playback it should be clear with your volume setting somewhere in the middle. If you notice a background noise or some weird echo in your room try using your wired or wireless mic-equipped earbuds.

Face masks, filters and visual effects — Facebook Messenger app on smartphones offers a fun collection of video masks which you can select before hitting the record button. If these are not enough, record and edit your clip in another app and then just upload it to Clipsus in Messenger. One thing to remember here — Messenger won't accept videos that are larger than 25Mb. If you run into this restriction, try minimizing quality/resolution of the video clip and upload it again.

Here are some apps that allow adding masks and effects to videos:
