These terms govern your use of Clipsus ("the app", "the service"), a Slack application for automating birthday celebrations. By installing or using Clipsus, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Clipsus is a Slack bot that helps workspaces celebrate birthdays by posting announcements, collecting greeting card messages from teammates, and optionally creating private channels for gift coordination.

2. Eligibility

Clipsus is intended for use by businesses and organizations. The person installing the app must be authorized to add third-party applications to their Slack workspace.

3. Account and Access

• Installation is managed through Slack's OAuth flow. No separate account is required.
• The person who installs the app becomes the initial workspace administrator.
• Administrators are responsible for configuring the app and managing birthday data within their workspace.

4. User Content

Users may submit birthday greeting messages and GIF selections ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your content. By submitting User Content, you grant Clipsus a license to display it within greeting cards, compile it into PDF exports, and deliver it through Slack messages within your workspace.

You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any laws or Slack's terms of service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to send spam or unwanted messages
• Attempt to access data from workspaces you are not a member of
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app in violation of Slack's terms of service or API usage policies

6. Privacy

Your use of Clipsus is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

7. Availability and Support

We aim to keep Clipsus available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app depends on Slack's API and infrastructure, which are outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

Clipsus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed birthday announcements, lost greeting card data, or service interruptions.

9. Termination

You may stop using Clipsus at any time by uninstalling it from your Slack workspace. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if we believe you are violating these terms or using the app in a way that could harm other users or our infrastructure.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a message in installed workspaces. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
